A full day tour to the beautiful Samana bay. Enjoy sun, swimming, beautiful nature and in the wintertime the big humpback whales. The trip will take you trough the green countryside of the north coast. Millions of coconut trees gave Samana its name; it means the Coconut land. The way to Samana is exactly how we imagine the Caribbean. After a short trip with boat we arrival to the paradise island, Cayo Levantado where the famous commercials for Bacardi rum was filmed once. Here we will have a wonderful day together and we will enjoy the bright sand on the beach and the crystal clear water. Here you can try snorkeling and other water activities. We will have our lunch in the shadow with merengue music in the background. The humpback whale comes to this bay to mate from the end of Dec. until Mar. On the way to Samana you will learn a lot about the Dom. Rep. the connections to the States, education and social conducts. Good to bring swimming clothes, sun cream, and camera. |
