Join us for a shopping day in the big city! We are going through the biggest and most spectacular mountain range, Cordillera Septentrional. In Santiago, the second largest city of the country, we make a stop at a monument of the Dominican heroes and from here you have a great view over the heart of the Dominican Republic. We also make a stop at a ceramic factory where we will see how they make the Dominican doll. One of the specialties of this country is a handmade cigar. We will visit the E. Leon Jimenez factory and there we will see the cigar-smoking artists in action and we will learn how to make them. After this, is time to go shopping in the center of Santiago, Calle del Sol.
